Zilla Fatu removed from GCW shows, sparking WWE speculation amid family connections
Zilla Fatu, a member of the renowned Anoa’i wrestling family, has been removed from upcoming Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) shows. The promotion announced this decision on social media, stating they had reached an impasse with Fatu. This has led to speculation about Fatu potentially joining WWE, where several of his family members, including Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, are already prominent figures.
Fatu has been making waves in the independent wrestling scene, holding championships in Reality of Wrestling and House of Glory. He was last seen in GCW on September 15th. While fans have speculated about his possible WWE debut, particularly during recent events like SummerSlam, there is no official confirmation of Fatu signing with WWE at this time. Another Anoa’i family member, Hikuleo, is reportedly signed with WWE but has yet to make his debut.
Zilla Fatu will not be appearing on tonite’s GCW event in Philadelphia, or any GCW shows for the forseeable future.
We tried our best to avoid this situation, but we have reached an impasse.
We wish him the best.
Matt Tremont will now face SLADE tonight at #GCWAura in Philly.
