The WWE backstage environment has undergone significant changes in recent years, with the most notable being the discontinuation of “Wrestler’s Court.” This practice, once used to maintain order among the eccentric personalities in the wrestling world, has been a topic of debate. While some viewed it as a way to address backstage issues, others saw it as a means of humiliation.

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry recently shared his perspective on the “Huge Pop” podcast, arguing that Wrestler’s Court was not intended for bullying but for entertainment. He explained that participants who felt targeted could easily resolve the situation by purchasing a bottle of Jack Daniels, as the judge could be swayed by such offerings. Many well-known WWE figures, including Matt Hardy and The Miz, were subject to these proceedings and now look back on them with amusement.

However, not everyone shares this lighthearted view of Wrestler’s Court. CM Punk, for instance, strongly criticized the practice, describing it in harsh terms as an embarrassment to the wrestling business. This contrast in opinions highlights the complexity and controversy surrounding this once-common backstage tradition in WWE.
