WWE’s “Raw” to Shift to Two-Hour Format on USA Network Before Moving to Netflix in 2025

WWE’s flagship show “Raw” is set to undergo significant changes in the coming months. Starting October, the program will shift from its current three-hour format to a two-hour format for the remainder of 2024. This decision was made by the USA Network, not WWE, and marks the first time since 2012 that “Raw” will be broadcast in a shorter time slot.

However, this change is temporary. When “Raw” moves to Netflix in January 2025, it will return to its three-hour format. The decision to stay with USA Network until the end of the year was made after considering options between USA and Peacock streaming service. WWE chose USA Network for a short-term deal due to Peacock’s unwillingness to pay extra. For the next three weeks, “Raw” will continue to air in its usual three-hour block before the changes take effect in October.
