WWE’s Raw to Shift to Two-Hour Format Ahead of Netflix Move in 2025

WWE has announced a significant change to its flagship show, “Raw.” Starting October 7, 2024, and continuing through December 30, 2024, “Raw” will shift from its current three-hour format to a two-hour timeslot on USA Network. The show will air from 8 PM to 10 PM EST, marking the first time in over a decade that “Raw” will not occupy the 10 PM EST television block on Monday nights.

This temporary change comes as WWE prepares to move “Raw” from USA Network to Netflix in January 2025. The reason for the format adjustment has not been revealed. It’s unclear whether Netflix will maintain the two-hour runtime or revert to the three-hour format once the show transitions to the streaming platform. Meanwhile, there are no announced changes to the schedules of “WWE SmackDown” or “WWE NXT,” with the latter preparing for its own move to The CW Network.
