In a recent interview, Ripley revealed details about the origins of their friendship. She admitted that when Priest initially joined NXT, she wasn’t familiar with his work in the American independent wrestling scene. However, seeing the excitement surrounding his arrival piqued her interest in getting to know him. Ripley described how they bonded over various shared interests, emphasizing their similar playful personalities. She affectionately referred to both herself and Priest as “goofballs,” highlighting the genuine camaraderie that exists between them outside of the ring.
