WWE NXT to debut on CW with star-studded lineup, Booker T highlights increased pressure on wrestlers

The WWE NXT is set to debut on the CW network on October 1, with an impressive lineup of guests and matches. Notable appearances include The Bloodline from SmackDown and TNA stars Jordynne Grace, Hammerstone, and Rosemary. CM Punk is scheduled to appear at the launch event in his hometown of Chicago and will also be present in the lead-up episode.

Booker T, a two-time WWE Hall of Famer and current NXT commentator, expressed his thoughts on the upcoming debut. He emphasized the increased pressure on wrestlers to perform at a higher level due to greater exposure and potential criticism on social media platforms. Booker T believes this new environment will separate the truly talented performers from the rest, stating, “cream rises to the top.”

The WWE Hall of Famer also shared his excitement and a touch of envy for the current developmental system in WWE. Booker T mentioned that he would have loved to have had such an opportunity when he was starting his career, describing the NXT system as a great springboard to the next level in professional wrestling.
