WWE Legend Lita Expresses Interest in Facing Rhea Ripley, Praising Her Growth as a Performer
WWE Hall of Famer Lita has expressed interest in facing Rhea Ripley if she returns to the ring. During a recent Q&A session in Northern Ireland, Lita praised Ripley’s growth as a performer and character development. The two wrestlers have only briefly interacted in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match, where they had a short face-off before Lita was eliminated by Charlotte Flair.
Both Lita and Ripley have shown mutual admiration for each other. Ripley has called Lita a “wonderful human” and expressed her desire to face her in the ring. Lita believes a match with Ripley would push her out of her comfort zone and test her abilities. Despite their interest, the two have not yet had a singles or tag team match against each other.
Lita’s last WWE appearance was at WrestleMania last year, where she teamed up with Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch to defeat Damage CTRL. Since her return to the ring in 2018, Lita has participated in a handful of matches, showcasing her enduring popularity and skills in the wrestling world.
