WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam shares insights on AEW’s Hangman Page vs Swerve Strickland feud

Rob Van Dam, a WWE Hall of Famer, recently shared his thoughts on the ongoing feud between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland in AEW. Van Dam, who has been involved in this storyline, participated in matches against Strickland and alongside Page earlier this year. On his podcast “1 Of A Kind,” Van Dam discussed the intensity of the feud, which has included dramatic moments like Page burning down Strickland’s childhood home.

Van Dam expressed his view that Page seems to be the wrestler AEW is pushing in the main events against Strickland, describing their rivalry as the “spine that holds everything together” in the company’s storylines. He also shared a personal connection to Page, mentioning that the wrestler reminds him of his late friend Bobby Duncan Jr. due to their similar appearance. This resemblance has led Van Dam to instinctively cheer for Page, although he admits to not knowing him very well personally. Van Dam described Page as a cool, respectful, and nice person based on their limited interactions.
