WWE close to signing Sheamus to new multi-year contract amid roster changes

WWE is reportedly close to securing a new contract with Sheamus, following recent deals with Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre. This comes at a time when several WWE stars have left the company or taken breaks, including Ricochet, Bobby Lashley, and Becky Lynch. The new agreement is expected to keep Sheamus with WWE for another three to five years, according to internal sources.

Sheamus, a former WWE Champion, currently performs on the Raw brand and has been pursuing the Intercontinental Championship to complete his Grand Slam Champion status. Despite recent setbacks, including a loss in a Triple Threat match for a title shot, Sheamus remains determined to achieve this goal. The news of his potential new contract should dispel any doubts about his future with the company, which arose earlier this year when he posted cryptic messages on social media before returning to TV.
