Vince McMahon accuser hires high-profile PR expert as Netflix documentary looms
Janel Grant, who has accused former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon of sexual assault, harassment, and trafficking, has hired PR expert Kendra Barkoff Lamy to help manage media inquiries. This move comes as Netflix prepares to release a documentary about McMahon on September 25. Lamy, who previously worked as a press secretary for President Biden, has experience representing victims in high-profile cases, including those involving Harvey Weinstein and the Washington NFL team.
A virtual press conference is scheduled for Thursday, where Lamy and Grant’s attorney, Ann Callis, will provide more details about the alleged abuse and harassment Grant experienced during her two-year employment with WWE. The case has caught the attention of federal authorities, who are investigating Grant’s claims of abuse and trafficking. Meanwhile, Grant has requested access to medical records from the time she and McMahon shared a physician.
Honored to be helping Janel Grant as she courageously seeks the justice she so deserves against @VinceMcMahon and @WWE https://t.co/xpEsLKiWiw
