At AEW Double or Nothing 2024, Gangrel appeared in the Barbed Wire Steel Cage TNT Championship match between Adam Copeland and Malakai Black. He emerged from the ring after the lights went dark and spat blood on The House of Black members. Gangrel attacked them with Impalers, allowing Copeland to recover and secure the victory. Copeland and Gangrel shared a moment after the match, with Copeland’s entrance theme playing. This marked the first time all three members of the original Brood group worked the same show in a long time.
