Update on When AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery’s Exclusive TV Rights Negotiation Window Ends
AEW’s exclusive negotiating window with Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) for its media TV rights ends in July. Tony Khan has reportedly been unimpressed with WBD’s current offer and is aware that the company’s loss of NBA rights could increase AEW’s leverage.Despite Khan’s dissatisfaction, both parties are maintaining a cordial public demeanor during negotiations. AEW has been partnered with WarnerMedia since its inception in 2019, with Dynamite airing on TNT. Once the exclusive window closes, other media companies can bid for AEW’s broadcast rights.
