Trick Williams Triumphs in Last Man Standing Match, Earns NXT Championship Shot Against Ethan Page
Trick Williams emerged victorious in a grueling Last Man Standing match against Pete Dunne on WWE NXT. The high-stakes bout was set up by General Manager Ava to settle their ongoing feud, with the winner earning a shot at Ethan Page’s NXT Championship. The match reached its climax when both wrestlers crashed through a table from an elevated platform in the WWE Performance Center.
As the match neared its end, NXT Champion Ethan Page appeared and attempted to interfere, but accidentally crashed through the commentary table. Williams managed to stand up by the count of nine, while Dunne couldn’t make it to his feet, securing Williams the win. This victory sets up a championship rematch between Williams and Page, scheduled for the October 1 NXT event in Chicago. Williams aims to reclaim the title he previously lost to Page in a fatal-four-way match at NXT Heatwave.
