Tony Khan reveals top AEW moments as company approaches five-year mark

As AEW nears its five-year milestone, President Tony Khan has shared his most cherished wrestling moments. He highlighted two standout events: Sting’s emotional retirement at AEW Revolution 2024 and Bryan Danielson’s AEW World Championship victory at AEW All In 2024. Khan expressed deep personal connections to both occasions, describing them as the greatest moments of his life.

Khan also mentioned another memorable event: the time-limit draw between Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega at the first Grand Slam event in 2021. Looking ahead, Danielson is set to face Nigel McGuinness at the upcoming 2024 Grand Slam, pending medical clearance. This match continues Danielson’s journey in AEW, which Khan believes is far from over, contrasting with Sting’s final bow in the company.
