Roxanne Perez to defend NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia in highly anticipated CW debut match

Roxanne Perez, the dominant force in NXT’s Women’s Division, is set to face a new challenger in Giulia, who recently made her WWE debut at No Mercy. The upcoming match for the NXT Women’s Championship, scheduled for NXT’s premiere on The CW, has garnered significant attention, with wrestling veteran Booker T predicting an intense showdown.

Booker T, speaking on his podcast, expressed excitement about the match and its potential to showcase Perez’s true abilities. He acknowledged Giulia’s reputation in the wrestling industry prior to joining WWE and praised Perez’s achievements in NXT over the past couple of years. Booker also noted that Perez has earned her current position without being overexposed or underutilized in WWE.

In preparation for the match, Booker revealed he’s been studying Giulia’s previous performances, noting that Japanese wrestlers, particularly women, often push boundaries beyond their American counterparts. Despite this, Booker maintains his support for Perez, calling her “the best” and expressing confidence in her ability to perform exceptionally in the upcoming championship match on October 1.
