Roxanne Perez Makes History as Three-Time NXT Women’s Champion, Set to Face Giulia on CW Network Debut
Roxanne Perez has made history in WWE NXT by becoming only the third woman to win the NXT Women’s Championship twice. Her first reign began in December 2022 when she defeated Mandy Rose, while her second victory came at the 2024 Stand & Deliver event, where she beat Lyra Valkyria. In a recent interview, Perez expressed her preference for her current reign, feeling more confident and established in her role.
Perez’s journey with WWE started in early 2022, and she has quickly risen through the ranks. Now, as the reigning NXT Women’s Champion, she faces a new challenge from Giulia, a former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion and recent WWE signee. Their anticipated match is expected to take place on October 1, coinciding with NXT’s debut on the CW Network.
