Ronda Rousey criticizes WWE’s creative process, rules out return due to family commitments
Ronda Rousey, former WWE star and UFC Hall of Famer, has been vocal about her frustrations with WWE since leaving the company over a year ago. Her main criticisms target executives like Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis, who are currently involved in a major lawsuit within the wrestling industry.
In a recent interview, Rousey expressed that her biggest issue while working for WWE was the creative process. She compared it to an unprepared “Saturday Night Live” episode, causing unnecessary stress despite successful performances. However, she acknowledges that the process has reportedly improved since her departure and feels happy for current WWE talent experiencing these positive changes.
Regarding a potential return to WWE, Rousey firmly stated that her priorities have shifted. As a mother of two, she explained that it would be too challenging to balance family life with the demanding travel schedule of a WWE performer. She emphasized that she can’t ask her family to make such sacrifices anymore.
