Ricochet’s AEW Debut Impresses: Bully Ray Praises Promo Skills in Ospreay Title Challenge

Ricochet, who joined All Elite Wrestling last month, made a significant impact on this week’s “AEW Dynamite” by challenging International Champion Will Ospreay to a title match. This confrontation caught the attention of WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, who praised Ricochet’s promo as one of his strongest performances in recent memory.

Speaking on “Busted Open After Dark,” Ray commended Ricochet’s delivery, stating it was some of his best microphone work outside of social media. Ray noted that while Ricochet has sometimes struggled with convincing promos in the past, this performance showed a marked improvement in his ability to convey personality and believability on the mic.

The upcoming International Championship match between Ricochet and Ospreay is scheduled for the 5-year anniversary episode of “Dynamite” on October 2. Ray expressed his excitement for the match, acknowledging both wrestlers’ impressive in-ring abilities. He believes Ricochet’s improved promo work has added an extra layer of investment to what promises to be a highly anticipated bout.
