Ricochet set for AEW Dynamite debut against Kyle Fletcher amid social media feud
Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ricochet has officially joined AEW, making his surprise debut at All In: London on August 25. He’s already shared the ring with top stars like Adam Page, Kazuchika Okada, and Nigel McGuinness.
Ricochet is set to make his AEW Dynamite television debut this Wednesday in Illinois, facing Kyle Fletcher in a one-on-one match. The bout was arranged following a challenge from Don Callis and Fletcher after All In.
Though they’ve never wrestled before, Ricochet and Fletcher have engaged in some heated exchanges on social media. Fletcher welcomed Ricochet to AEW, but Ricochet dismissed the interaction. This led to jabs about Ricochet’s brief reign as WWE Speed Champion and claims about viewership numbers.
Ricochet has also been responding to fans upset about his move from WWE to AEW. He states he’s happy with his decision and dismisses negative comments as coming from people who are miserable and complain for no reason.
