Rascalz Win NXT Tag Team Title Shot in Action-Packed Number One Contender’s Match
In an exciting development for WWE NXT, former TNA Wrestling Tag Team Champions Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel, known as the Rascalz, have earned a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships. They secured this opportunity by winning a thrilling Number One Contender’s match on Tuesday’s NXT episode, defeating two other teams: Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) and the duo of Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.
The match was filled with action and unexpected turns, including several interferences near the end. Joe Coffey attempted to help his Gallus teammates, but was thwarted by Je’von Evans. The O.C. (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) also made an appearance, distracting Walker and Ledger. Ultimately, Miguel and Wentz, who is also the current TNA X-Division champion, clinched the victory with impressive moves including a meteora and a Swanton Bomb. The Rascalz will now face the current champions, Nathan Frazer and Axiom, dubbed “Fraxiom,” in next week’s title match.
