Randy Orton makes shocking return to WWE SmackDown, teams with Kevin Owens for victory

Randy Orton made a surprise return to WWE SmackDown, teaming up with Kevin Owens to defeat Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. This marked Orton’s first appearance since his unsuccessful attempt at winning his 15th world title against GUNTHER at Bash In Berlin. The return came as a shock to fans, as Owens initially introduced indie wrestler Ricky Gibson as his mystery partner for the match.

In a dramatic turn of events, Owens was informed that his preferred partner had arrived just in time. He quickly dismissed Gibson with a Stunner and welcomed Orton to the ring, much to the excitement of the Seattle crowd. Despite early dominance from Theory and Waller, including a brutal attack on Owens outside the ring, the team of Orton and Owens (dubbed R-KO) mounted a comeback. The match concluded with Orton securing the victory by pinning Waller after delivering his signature RKO move.
