Powerhouse Hobbs Spotted Backstage at AEW Dynamite, Fueling Comeback Speculation
Former AEW TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs was spotted backstage at the recent “AEW Dynamite” event in Milwaukee, sparking speculation about his potential return. Hobbs has been absent from AEW TV since April when he suffered a patellar tendon tear during a match against Jon Moxley. While no official return date has been announced, Hobbs underwent surgery quickly after the injury and has been actively working on his rehabilitation.
Typically, recovery from a patellar tendon tear takes around six months, which would put Hobbs’ return near the end of October. However, given his intense rehabilitation efforts, he might return sooner. Meanwhile, The Don Callis Family, the group Hobbs is associated with, has undergone changes during his absence, including Will Ospreay’s departure and the addition of Rush as a new focus for Callis. How Hobbs will fit into the evolving dynamics of the group remains to be seen upon his return.
