Paul Wight, a veteran wrestler known for his imposing size, has expressed his admiration for AEW star Satnam Singh while suggesting that Singh’s character needs to be tougher. During a recent podcast appearance, Wight emphasized the importance of giants in wrestling being able to portray a mean and nasty persona to evoke strong reactions from the audience. He praised Singh’s personal qualities but stressed that in the ring, the former basketball player needs to learn to be less empathetic and more intimidating.

Satnam Singh, who joined AEW in 2021, has shown promise in his wrestling career. Although he hasn’t yet won a title in AEW or its affiliated promotion ROH, Singh has already tasted success elsewhere. In just his fourth professional match, he teamed up with Raj Dhesi (formerly known as Jinder Mahal in WWE) to capture the AAA World Tag Team Titles at the TripleMania event in August. This early achievement highlights Singh’s potential in the world of professional wrestling.
