Orange Cassidy Defeats Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite, Jericho Vows Revenge but Faces Scheduling Conflict

Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy faced off in a singles match on AEW Dynamite, their first one-on-one encounter since their “Mimosa Mayhem” match in 2020. The match was fueled by Jericho’s desire for revenge over past incidents, including a ruined jacket and a car damaged by coins. Cassidy emerged victorious once again, using a roll of quarters that Jericho had introduced to the match.

Following the loss, Jericho expressed his frustration in a post-match interview. He accused Cassidy of cheating and vowed to continue the feud between his group, “The Learning Tree,” and Cassidy’s allies, known as The Conglomeration. Jericho promised retaliation against Cassidy and his teammates in future encounters.

However, Jericho’s immediate plans may delay the continuation of this rivalry. He is scheduled to tour with his band Fozzy starting in October, including a performance at the Louder Than Life festival on September 27. This touring commitment means Jericho will not be present at the upcoming AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view event on October 12.
