Nigel McGuinness Taunts “Brittle Bryan” Danielson as AEW Grand Slam Match Hangs in Balance
Nigel McGuinness continues to taunt AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson on social media, calling him “Brittle Bryan” and accusing him of cowardice. McGuinness is frustrated by Danielson’s silence regarding their potential match at next week’s “AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam” event. The match depends on whether Danielson is medically cleared to compete following a brutal attack by his former allies, the Blackpool Combat Club, at the recent All Out event.
McGuinness and Danielson share a long history, dating back to their time in Ring of Honor (ROH) from 2005 to 2009. Both wrestlers have experienced career comebacks, with McGuinness recently returning to in-ring action at the All In event in London. On the same night, Danielson won the AEW World Championship in a “Career versus Title” match against Swerve Strickland. As of now, there are no updates on Danielson’s current in-ring status or whether he will be able to compete against McGuinness at the upcoming event.
