The wrestling world has been buzzing with speculation about the future of the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. After their TNA contracts expired in April, rumors swirled about potential moves to AEW or WWE. Despite initial speculation about joining AEW, recent reports suggest they are headed to WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Motor City Machine Guns are expected to join WWE’s NXT brand soon. This news comes as a surprise to some, given that Shelley and Sabin are considered one of the most influential tag teams of their generation. The timing of their potential debut coincides with significant changes for NXT, including its move to The CW network on October 1.

NXT has a busy schedule ahead, with live shows planned in Chicago and St. Louis, followed by the Halloween Havoc event in Hershey, Pennsylvania on October 27. The addition of the Motor City Machine Guns could bring fresh excitement to the brand as it embarks on this new chapter.
