Mercedes Mone voices concerns over extreme violence at AEW All Out 2024, praises Chicago Street Fight
AEW All Out 2024 has gained attention for its intense and violent content, particularly a scene involving Jon Moxley suffocating Bryan Danielson with a plastic bag. TBS Champion Mercedes Mone expressed mixed feelings about the event in her newsletter. While acknowledging the excitement such extreme performances can generate, she raised concerns about the appropriateness for younger viewers and families who enjoy wrestling together.
Mone respects the passion and courage of performers who participate in hardcore matches but emphasized the importance of wrestlers maintaining long-term health. She personally prefers to avoid such extreme matches unless they significantly benefit the wrestling company. Despite her reservations about violent content, Mone praised the Chicago Street Fight between Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander, calling it the standout match of the event.
