Matt Hardy Discusses Potential WWE Return for The Hardys
Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy, both recently returned to TNA after their AEW contracts expired. Matt Hardy expressed his desire to have a successful run in TNA and then potentially return to WWE with Jeff Hardy for a short period before being inducted into the Hall of Fame. He said, “I would like to do TNA and have a hell of a run there, and then I almost feel like now, just the destiny has revealed itself in many ways, I almost feel Jeff and I, we end up returning to WWE, do something small and then go onto the Hall of Fame. That’s a best case scenario.”
When asked about WWE trusting Jeff Hardy again, Matt Hardy mentioned Jeff’s commitment to rebuild trust by returning to TNA and demonstrating his growth and reliability. He also noted the collaboration between TNA and WWE, stating that Jeff Hardy aims to showcase his transformation through a successful run at TNA. He said, “I think Jeff just wants to once again just show people how he is a different human being. The way to put equity into that is to go to TNA, have a kickass run, and show people he’s on his best behavior.”
