Logan Paul Responds to Criticism Over Limited US Championship Defenses
Logan Paul’s venture into professional wrestling and subsequent success as the current United States Champion has surprised many fans. However, Paul has recently addressed criticisms regarding the limited number of title defenses he has made since winning the championship from Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel last year.
Since his victory, Paul has defended the title only twice: once against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble, which ended in disqualification, and again at WrestleMania 40 in a triple threat match against Owens and Randy Orton. Despite this, Paul holds the second-longest reign as United States Champion in the past decade.
When a fan account on Twitter highlighted the limited number of defenses, Paul responded by stating, “Work smarter not harder.”
Paul is scheduled to appear on the June 28th episode of WWE Smackdown at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It remains to be seen whether he will retain the United States Championship against LA Knight.
