Kurt Angle praises Chad Gable’s talent, urges recognition of his unique abilities beyond comparisons

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently shared his thoughts on Chad Gable, a wrestler who has often been compared to him. Gable, who joined WWE in 2015, shares similarities with Angle in terms of their amateur wrestling backgrounds and natural in-ring abilities. While Angle quickly rose to success in WWE, Gable’s journey has been slower, though he’s gained significant momentum in the past year.

Angle expressed admiration for Gable’s recent performances, praising his ability to work with wrestlers of all sizes, including successfully executing moves on larger opponents like Braun Strowman. However, Angle also noted that he felt WWE had previously underutilized Gable’s talents. The Hall of Famer appreciates Gable’s current character work, including the fans’ “You Suck!” chants, reminiscent of Angle’s own career.

Despite the comparisons, Angle emphasized that Gable should be recognized for his own unique talents rather than being seen as the next Kurt Angle. He believes Gable has proven himself as a distinct performer in his own right, carving out his own niche in the wrestling world.
