Konnan questions WWE’s booking of Jey Uso, speculates Roman Reigns’ return may spark major storylines
Konnan, a wrestling personality, has expressed concern over WWE’s current booking of Jey Uso on his podcast “Keepin’ It 100”. Despite Jey’s popularity and high merchandise sales, Konnan finds it perplexing that WWE hasn’t given him any significant storylines in recent months. He speculates that WWE might be waiting for Roman Reigns’ return to reintegrate Jey into major storylines.
Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE television since August 9, when he attacked The Bloodline on “SmackDown”. While Jey Uso has been involved in some minor storylines, including helping Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley in their feud with Judgment Day and becoming the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship, Konnan feels these aren’t substantial enough given Jey’s fan following. He points out that Jey’s current role mainly involves dramatic entrances through the crowd without being part of any major feuds or title pursuits.
