Joe Hendry Expected to Return to WWE NXT After Well-Received Debut
Joe Hendry, known for his musical performances in TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling), made a notable appearance on WWE’s NXT program on June 18th. Despite being quickly eliminated from a battle royal by fellow TNA wrestler Frankie Kazarian, sources indicate that Hendry is expected to return for future NXT appearances.
Both WWE officials and those within NXT have expressed satisfaction with the audience’s positive reaction to Hendry. While some sources associated with TNA wished Hendry had been featured more prominently, they were pleased to see his ongoing feud with Kazarian continue on the NXT platform. Kazarian himself has placed blame on Hendry for his own loss in the battle royal.
The date of Hendry’s next appearance on WWE television remains unknown, but his impact on this week’s NXT episode was undeniable.
