A recent media scrum for WWE Bash in Berlin stirred controversy when Cody Rhodes was questioned about Vince McMahon’s upcoming Netflix docuseries. Rhodes appeared visibly uncomfortable with the inquiry, leading to online criticism of the question’s appropriateness. Jim Ross, a veteran wrestling commentator, addressed this incident on his podcast “Grilling JR,” praising Rhodes’ handling of the situation while strongly criticizing the nature of the question.

Ross questioned the journalistic integrity of such inquiries, suggesting they were more about sensationalism than genuine reporting. He argued that questions about McMahon should be directed solely to Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s current head of creative, and even then, Levesque would likely avoid the topic. Ross also expressed disbelief at the notion that the entire WWE locker room should be expected to comment on the docuseries.

While some fans worry the Netflix series might portray McMahon sympathetically, wrestling personality Conrad Thompson has suggested it could actually be critical of McMahon’s wrestling legacy. This conflicting speculation adds another layer of intrigue to the ongoing discussion surrounding the controversial docuseries.
