A press conference was held by the representatives of Janel Grant, a former WWE employee who has accused Vince McMahon of sexual abuse and trafficking. The conference aimed to keep Grant’s case in the public eye as a new Netflix docuseries about McMahon is set to premiere. Grant’s attorney, Ann Callis, and PR representative, Kendra Barkoff Lamy, addressed questions from the media.

When asked about other potential victims, Callis revealed that while they initially received many calls, they have not spoken to any current victims due to an ongoing non-public criminal investigation. Grant’s lawsuit against McMahon and WWE was temporarily halted in May when the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York began investigating McMahon. Lamy emphasized Grant’s desire for the proceedings to move quickly to bring all facts to light.

Callis expressed belief that Grant was not the only victim, citing media reports of McMahon paying over $12 million to four women formerly associated with WWE over the past 16 years to suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity. She described this as evidence of a “clear pattern of predatory behavior” by McMahon.
