Jade Cargill Focuses on WWE Future, Dismisses AEW Questions as She Aims for Tag Team Success

Jade Cargill, approaching her one-year anniversary with WWE, expressed frustration with repeated questions about her former wrestling company, AEW. At a recent press conference, Cargill emphasized her focus on her current career in WWE, particularly her goal of solidifying her position as a tag team champion.

Bianca Belair, Cargill’s tag team partner, shared insights on helping Cargill adjust to WWE’s main roster. Belair related to Cargill’s experience of joining with significant hype and quickly being thrust into major roles. She mentioned her own rapid rise to headlining WrestleMania in her first year and how she benefited from support from fellow wrestlers. Belair aims to provide similar guidance to Cargill.

Cargill also looks to former SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi for advice in WWE. The trio of Cargill, Belair, and Naomi have been nicknamed “The Big Three.” Before joining WWE, Cargill had a notable three-year stint in AEW, where she became the inaugural TBS Champion and held the title for a record-setting 508 days.
