Reportedly, longstanding tensions between Mexican wrestling promotions CMLL and AAA have been resolved, paving the way for AAA talent like RUSH and Fenix to participate in AEW and NJPW’s Forbidden Door event. This resolution is attributed to financial incentives and AEW President Tony Khan’s efforts to connect with CMLL. As a result, Forbidden Door 2024 is expected to feature prominent CMLL stars, fostering greater exposure for Mexican wrestlers in the United States.
