Inspiration Behind Toni Storm’s ‘Timeless’ Gimmick Unveiled

Toni Storm’s “Timeless” gimmick was inspired by classic films like “All About Eve” and “Sunset Boulevard.” AEW President Tony Khan credits these movies for shaping the direction of the character and the company as a whole. The gimmick has been well-received, particularly Storm’s relationship with Mariah May and the involvement of Mina Shirakawa. Storm is scheduled to defend her AEW Women’s Championship against Shirakawa at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 30th.
