Hulk Hogan Denies Creative Control in WCW, Reveals Surprising Details About NWO Formation
Hulk Hogan, a prominent figure in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) for nearly seven years, has addressed longstanding accusations about his use of creative control within the company. Despite his successful run, which included six WCW World Championship titles and a famous heel turn at Bash at the Beach 1996, Hogan claims he never exercised creative control in WCW or WWE.
In a recent interview, Hogan revealed surprising details about the iconic formation of the New World Order (NWO). He stated that Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were unaware of who the “third man” would be during the Bash at the Beach event. Hogan also mentioned that Eric Bischoff, WCW’s executive producer, initially planned to use Sting as the third member. However, Hogan convinced Bischoff that he was the better choice due to his WWE background. Interestingly, Hogan added that Bischoff was skeptical about his willingness to turn heel and had Sting on standby in case Hogan didn’t show up.
