Freddie Prinze Jr. hails Bray Wyatt as “last true attraction” in wrestling, praises Wyatt Family’s impact
The Wyatt Family, consisting of Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and Luke Harper, made a significant impact on WWE after their 2012 debut in NXT. The group quickly rose to prominence, winning both WWE and NXT Tag Team Championships. Their supernatural gimmick and engaging promos captivated audiences, making them one of the most intriguing factions of the 2010s.
Former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. recently praised Bray Wyatt, calling him the “last true attraction” in professional wrestling after The Undertaker’s retirement. Prinze Jr. highlighted how the Wyatt Family changed fans’ perspective on wrestling, noting their authentic promos and the iconic “fireflies” crowd interaction. Sadly, both Wyatt and Harper have passed away, but their legacy continues through Erick Rowan, who now performs alongside Wyatt’s real-life brother, Bo Dallas, as part of the Wyatt Six on WWE programming.
