Former WWE Star Ricochet Makes Impressive AEW Debut, Eyes International Championship
Ricochet, a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, has made his debut in AEW after six years with WWE. He made a strong first impression at the All In event during the Casino Gauntlet match and has since secured victories over Kyle Fletcher and Sammy Guevara. Ricochet has expressed interest in challenging Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship.
In a recent interview, Ricochet shared his excitement about joining AEW, citing the promotion’s freshness and potential for new storylines and matches. He emphasized his desire to contribute to AEW’s growth and showcase a wrestling style that appeals to fans. Ricochet also noted that despite being relatively new, AEW has already experienced significant growth in its five-year history.
Looking ahead, Ricochet is set to make his first non-WWE appearance in Japan in seven years. He will reunite with his former tag team partner CIMA at a GLEAT event in Osaka on October 6, marking another milestone in his post-WWE career.
