Former WWE Star Ricochet Joins AEW, Seeks to Reignite Passion for Wrestling

Ricochet, a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, has recently made the transition to AEW. In a recent appearance on “The Masked Man Show,” he expressed his desire to reignite his passion for wrestling. Ricochet stated that while his love for the sport has never disappeared, he felt the need to return to his roots and rediscover the enthusiasm he had when he started his career 21 years ago. He sees AEW as the catalyst for this rejuvenation, describing it as the “gas can” that will rekindle his fire.

In a separate interview with Sports Illustrated, Ricochet elaborated on his decision to leave WWE for AEW. He reflected on his two-decade-long career and realized that his fondest memories were of traveling the world with friends who are now part of AEW. This realization led him to conclude that AEW was where he truly wanted to be. However, Ricochet acknowledged that the decision to leave WWE after six years was not an easy one to make.
