Former TNA Star AJ Francis Hints at Challenging for NXT North American Championship

Oba Femi has established himself as a dominant force in WWE’s NXT. He rose to prominence after winning the NXT North American championship by cashing in his breakout contract.

Since then, Femi has delivered impressive performances and successfully defended his title, most recently at the NXT Battleground event in Las Vegas against Wes Lee and Joe Coffey.

A post by WWE NXT on social media calling for potential challengers to Femi’s title led former WWE and current TNA star, AJ Francis, to express his interest via X.

Francis posted: “💰.”

With recent crossovers between WWE and TNA, including Joe Hendry’s appearance on NXT, it’s possible that Francis could challenge Femi for the NXT North American Championship.
