Dustin Rhodes, currently holding two championship titles in Ring of Honor (ROH), faces an uncertain future with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Despite his recent success, reports indicate that Rhodes’ contract with AEW is set to expire at the end of September. This revelation has surprised many who assumed his title wins signaled a contract renewal.

Rhodes’ current accolades include the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship, which he holds alongside the Von Erich brothers, and the ROH World Tag Team Championship with Sammy Guevara. His journey in ROH began in July 2024 at the Death Before Dishonor event, where he teamed up with the Von Erichs to secure a title shot. They later claimed victory over the Undisputed Kingdom to win the Six-Man titles. Rhodes’ tag team success continued when he and Guevara defeated the Undisputed Kingdom on an episode of “AEW Collision” to capture the ROH tag belts.

While Rhodes’ wrestling future remains unclear, it’s worth noting his extensive history with WWE, where he spent most of his career. His brother, Cody Rhodes, is currently the Undisputed WWE Champion. Beyond his in-ring performances, Dustin Rhodes also contributes to AEW’s women’s division behind the scenes, showcasing his versatility in the wrestling industry.
