Drew McIntyre to miss WWE Raw, CM Punk set to address Hell in a Cell match

Drew McIntyre, set to face CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match at the upcoming Bad Blood event, will not be present at Monday’s WWE Raw in Portland. His absence is reportedly a creative decision rather than due to injury. Despite expectations that McIntyre might have skipped last week’s show to attend the premiere of his first Hollywood film, he was required to appear for a segment setting up the upcoming cell match.

Meanwhile, CM Punk is scheduled to appear on Monday’s Raw, two weeks after suffering a brutal attack from McIntyre. The assault, which occurred after Punk expressed interest in challenging for GUNTHER’s World Heavyweight Championship, saw McIntyre destroy a friendship bracelet significant to their ongoing feud and continue the beating even as Punk was being loaded into an ambulance. Punk is expected to address his upcoming Hell in a Cell match against McIntyre during the show.
