Cody Rhodes Tops PWI 500 List for 2024, Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay Complete Top Three

Pro Wrestling Illustrated has revealed its top 500 wrestlers list for 2024, covering performances from August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024. Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, has claimed the top spot for the first time, improving from his previous best of sixth place in 2022. Swerve Strickland from AEW secured the second position, marking his rise as one of the company’s top performers. Will Ospreay rounded out the top three, achieving his highest placement to date.

The list features a mix of talent from various wrestling promotions. Seth Rollins, last year’s number one, dropped to fourth place, while Tetsuya Naito from NJPW landed in fifth. Damian Priest and MJF occupied the sixth and seventh spots respectively. Jon Moxley, GUNTHER, and Mistico completed the top 10, with Mistico making a notable return to the upper echelons of the list for the first time since 2007.
