Cody Rhodes Battered but Victorious in Grueling WWE Clash at The Castle Championship Match
At Clash at The Castle, Cody Rhodes successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against AJ Styles in a grueling ‘I Quit’ match. The intense encounter left Rhodes visibly battered, as he later admitted on his Instagram story.
The match was a back-and-forth affair, with both competitors showcasing their innovative offense. Styles, relentless in his pursuit of the championship, even drew blood from Rhodes, a rare sight that stunned the audience.
Styles utilized various weapons throughout the match, including belts, handcuffs, kendo sticks, and more. However, Rhodes ultimately turned the tide, causing Styles to bleed and securing him in handcuffs.

Rhodes emerged victorious after forcing Styles to utter ‘I quit’ under the threat of being struck with steel steps. Despite the victory, Rhodes still hit Styles with the steps after the match concluded.
On his Instagram story, Rhodes shared that he is feeling the effects of the brutal match but remains focused on his feud with The Bloodline. He stated:
“Still buzzing from that environment last night – body feels like it was thrown down a rocky cliffside still….
Such a fever for this
What do we do next?
Besides bust up Solo’s team”
It remains to be seen how WWE will develop the rivalry between Rhodes and Solo Sikoa in the coming weeks, with a potential showdown at WWE Money In The Bank in July.
