CM Punk’s Return Boosts Ticket Sales for WWE SmackDown in Chicago
WWE’s SmackDown, airing from Chicago’s Allstate Arena on Friday, will feature the aftermath of the Clash at the Castle PLE, including CM Punk’s World Heavyweight Title victory over Drew McIntyre. Punk’s return to the ring is anticipated soon.
The show will include Money in the Bank qualifying matches: Kevin Owens vs. Grayson Waller vs. Andrade and Randy Orton vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Tama Tonga. Additional matches are expected to be announced.
Ticket sales for the event have reached 13,460, with potential for more as additional seats may be released. This is a significant increase from the 1,033 tickets sold the previous week.
Punk, who was officially added to the show on Monday, previously stated at the Clash at the Castle press conference that he would help boost ticket sales.
