CM Punk Set for Friday Night SmackDown Return in Chicago
CM Punk, currently recovering from a triceps injury sustained in January, will appear on the June 21st episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, Punk’s hometown, confirmed his appearance on their official social media account.
Punk recently returned to WWE television at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event, where he interfered in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, costing Drew McIntyre the title. He subsequently missed the June 17th edition of Monday Night RAW for a medical evaluation.
Punk’s in-ring return status for Money In The Bank remains uncertain. Fans are eager to hear what “The Second City Saint” has to say on this week’s episode of SmackDown.
