WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has suggested that both Lee and Larry should become more involved in the storyline. He proposes a scenario where Larry bites McIntyre’s ankles and Lee physically confronts him. Bully Ray believes that bringing AJ Lee back into the WWE mix would significantly increase the emotional investment of fans in the storyline. Former WWE star Nic Nemeth agrees, stating that mentioning Lee repeatedly without her eventual appearance might disappoint fans.

Despite the two matches already held between Punk and McIntyre, Bully Ray is confident that the storyline still has potential for further development.
