Chris Jericho loses to Mistico at CMLL 91st Anniversary show, Orange Cassidy makes surprise appearance
Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy have reignited their 2020 rivalry, with Cassidy recently dumping $7000 in loose change on Jericho’s new Bentley using a bulldozer. Despite this setback, Jericho went on to headline the CMLL 91st Anniversary show in a Two-Out-of-Three Falls match against Mistico, formerly known as Sin Cara in WWE.
The match was intense, with Jericho winning the first fall using his signature Walls of Jericho. Mistico fought back, securing the second fall with impressive aerial moves. Despite interference from Big Bill, Mistico ultimately emerged victorious. However, the drama didn’t end there. Jericho and Bill attacked Mistico after the match, leading to Orange Cassidy’s surprise intervention. Cassidy took out Bill with his Orange Punch, while Mistico delivered a Missile Dropkick. The show concluded with Cassidy and Mistico celebrating together, setting the stage for potential future confrontations between Jericho and his rivals in AEW.
